Companion Dog School Policies

Vaccinations

Written proof of age applicable vaccinations are required with your entry form or at the first class.

We strongly recommend that you consult your veterinarian about what vaccinations your dog should receive before being exposed to other dogs in public, specifically bordetella and canine influenza. 

Aggression

Companion Dog School may require an aggressive dog to be muzzeled for the safety of other students and their dogs. We also reserve the right to dismiss or refuse admittance to overly aggressive dogs.

High Risk Situations

To better ensure the safety of all dogs, any dog coming from a high risk situation (animal shelter, pound, puppy mill, rescue) must wait at least 14 days from date of Vet check, vaccinations and rescue, whichever comes latest, before entering the CDST facility.

Weather

Any day that the Tulsa Public Schools are closed due to bad weather, the CDST classes on that day will also be canceled. In the event deteriorating weather situations in mid-day make the conducting of classes dangerous or the driving to class hazardous (i.e., tornado warning or ice storm) class canceling a bulletin or other information will be posted on the home page.
